Try your hand at willow weaving!​
After creating a willow trellis for my show garden at Harrogate Flower Show in 2019, I had a lot of enquiries about willow weaving workshops.​
​
As a result, a programme of courses is offered here at a variety of venues. Apart from in my own garden, I now offer workshops at Gallows Hill, Ebberston Studios, Beck Isle Museum, Helmsley Walled Garden, Danby Lodge, Sledmere Garden, and Helmsley Arts Centre.

Hopefully you can find something which appeals. If you have something in mind, please get in touch. I also run workshops on request at local village halls etc for private groups.

​Create your own 6 foot obelisk - ideal for sweetpeas or other climbing plants. Or something shorter as a support for peonies perhaps.

​Have a go at weaving something simple. You may just fall in love with it!

New for this year! Unwind and Weave on the 2nd Tuesday each month. Come regularly or just when you can. Take some time for yourself and learn a number of different weaving techniques.

Talks and Demonstrations for Groups

Janice is happy to give talks about garden design or willow weaving to groups,
She can also offer the opportunity to 'have a go' at willow weaving, which gives participants the chance to try it out and take something simple home.

At present, workshop bookings for sessions at home are taken by email or phone. Payment can be made via BAC or cash/card on the day.
